Welcome to Matlock Science.  This will be the official site for information concerning my science classes at Alston Middle School.  Students will be able to obtain key information that they may have missed in class and parents will be able to check upcoming tests and projects.  I hope to have study guides and sample tests available in the near future.  This is intended to be an asset to my students to use and will always be a work in progress. 

Notifying Visitors of Site Enhancements
Another idea for my home page's text is notifying visitors about the enhancements I put on my site. For example, I want visitors to sign my guestbook or fill out my survey Form E-mailer to answer questions about my site, my business, or my site's topic.

Next Study Unit

We are ready to start the next life science unit on Animals.  We will start with a look at what makes a living thing, the modern classification system, adaptation, and conduct a study on vertebrates and invertebrates.  this will be the major unit of study for the second quarter.  I intend to allow the students to conduct a good amount of individualized study.  More to follow.
